Get out of here, creep! Oh, sorry. I thought you were someone else. Come in, come in!

My name’s Chris Cantrill, don’t wear it out! I’m a writer, actor and bad-boy comedian hailing from West Yorkshire. I’ve been twice nominated for ‘Best Show’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as half of the award-winning double act, The Delightful Sausage.

Since making our telly debut on Harry Hill’s Clubnite (Channel 4), we’ve appeared as regulars on Late Night Mash (Dave) as well as fronting a spin-off web series, Great Britain: Wide Open & Ready. We’ve had our own special on BBC Radio 2 and crashed out in the first round of Pointless Celebrities (BBC One).

As an actor, I’ve popped up in cool shows like Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (Channel 4) and the BAFTA-winning Alma’s Not Normal (BBC 2). I’ve written for BBC One, Dave, Channel 4, Cbeebies and CBBC. I’m also the co-editor of the Gilsland Village Magazine, a volunteer role I took on during lockdown which it now looks like I’ll be doing until I’m dead haha.
